Schools in Kinnaur will open later in the winter months
From November, classes start at ten in schools above 2,500 metres.
Government schools in Kinnaur above 2,500 metres will start classes at ten in the morning from November, the education department said.
Parents had asked for the change after children walking to school before eight met ice on the paths.
